2021 IECC: The New Standard for Energy-Efficient Homes in Colorado
The 2021 IECC, like all codes before it, raises the bar for energy efficiency for the nations housing. How is it different from previous codes, where is it adopted in Colorado already and where will it be adopted in the foreseeable future? When taken into consideration with the 45L tax credit, how much of a difference in  practices is there? As more jurisdictions adopt the 2021, builders need to be aware of it’s implications. We’ll also check in on Colorado jurisdiction specific amendments..
