The 45L tax credit is now aligned with ENERGY STAR and DOE Zero Energy Ready programs. This represents an excellent opportunity for builders of all types to leverage the tax credit to build high performing homes. While this alignment with programs makes things more clear, “real” and transparent, there are still questions to be answered and changes in the future to be explored.
