Michelle Ellis is the principal at Ellis Communications Marketing and a veteran communications professional with more than 20 years of experience in local, regional and national public relations programs, as well as broadcast journalism. She has worked with a variety of clients in a multitude of sectors, including entertainment and events, education and government, lifestyle and consumer,  and home building and commercial real estate. A respected local industry leader, Michelle was named one of Denver’s 2016 top 40 Under 40 business leaders by the Denver Business Journal and the 2015 PR Person of the Year by the Public Relations Society of America, Colorado Chapter. A Colorado native and Colorado State University alumna, Michelle is passionate about helping brands with a Colorado connection stand out in a crowded marketplace through strategic storytelling and memorable marketing.

Anastasia Vankova is the Founder and CEO of Lifestyle Barn, the parent company of Modern Blaze and Patio Fever. She started the business in 2014 after struggling to find the right fireplace for her own home, realizing the buying process was far more complicated than it should be. What began as a mission to simplify fireplace shopping has grown into a trusted e-commerce platform serving homeowners and trade professionals nationwide. Today, Lifestyle Barn helps customers confidently choose high-quality indoor and outdoor heating solutions with expert guidance, competitive pricing, and a seamless buying experience.

I graduated from University of Oregon with a bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, focusing my studies on sustainable practices and integrating them into thoughtful designs.

Before venturing out on my own, I worked at a Denver based, award winning landscape architecture design-build firm. After starting out in the field as a maintenance foreman, I quickly worked my way to the top of the design team. Bringing my maintenance experiences to the drafting table, I render a practical approach into the details of my designs. My experiences designing both small Denver yards and large estate properties and connections within the industry provide the best possible service to a wide variety of clientele.
