As an Area Construction Manager, you will oversee and coordinate all construction activities within designated geographical areas. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of construction processes and methodologies. This role will focus on metro Denver areas of business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Project Management is preferred
- 10+ years management level experience in residential/multifamily building
- Knowledge of building to LEED Certifications
- Proficiency in Procore, MS Project, Asana project management platforms
- Experience building in Denver, Aurora, and surrounding metro areas
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Background in process improvement and project management
- Certification in construction management or PMP is a plus
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Team player with a collaborative and inclusive approach
- Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the Denver Metro Area.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and train the construction team of 5 on 14 jobsites
- Support and oversee multiple jobsites and Construction Managers from initiation to completion
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and ensure adherence to timelines and financial constraints
- Forecast and strategize construction activities, revenues, and future projects
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, implement proactive measures to mitigate delays or cost overruns
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, contractors, architects, development team, purchasing, marketing, engineers, and regulatory authorities
- Coordinate and monitor the allocation of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment to optimize efficiency, productivity, and maximize cost-effectiveness
- Build and implement systems and processes that improve construction team performance
- This position is 40% office work/meetings 60% field work

Compensation:
- Salary Range between $110,000 and $125,000 (based on experience)
- Opportunity for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance and profitability.
