Part Time - Design Consultant
Award winning, local developer and homebuilder seeking a Design Consultant to assist on a need be part time basis.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Meet with homebuyers to assist with interior and exterior home selections
- Understand homebuyers needs, desires and budget parameters; help meet/exceed client expectations
- Make recommendations that satisfy customer goals and desired outcomes for their new home
- Collaborate with Design, Production and Sales teams; Identify new product info & current design trends
- Synchronize with Trades/Vendors to obtain product samples for Sales & Purchasing teams
- Assist with onsite Design Center spaces; make sure all samples are current and accurate
- Make sure all homebuyer selections match with Purchasing & Superintendents schedules; assure quality control process is in place with team
- Provide Builder with concepts and design ideas for model and spec homes
- Meet all required deadlines and schedules
- Be familiar with Allowance schedules, Builder Specifications, Cut Sheets & architectural homeplans
- 1-2+ years in design and residential new construction
- Must possess some working knowledge of construction components, materials & processes
- Positive attitude, hardworking, persistent & dependable
- Excellent attention to detail & strong customer service skills
- Efficient, well organized work habits
